LU375 is a special jubilee edition of Lund University Magazine (LUM) for 2041. It is an exploration of possible futures for Lund University. Who might the researchers, teachers and other staff at Lund University be? And what might they be working on?

Lund University Magazine is focused mainly on interviews with staff and researchers, highlighting current research developments and events within the the university.
In order to distill the themes for this future issue, we needed to first create the characters that would inhabit it. To this end I designed a character creation and scenario role-playing workshop which was executed in eight variations, with almost seventy participants ranging from deans to students and administrators.
Using with the themes and character archetypes distilled from the outcomes of these workshops, we worked with the writing and editorial staff of LU Magazine to create a fully-fledged issue set in the year 2041, celebrating the university’s 375-year jubilee.
The full magazine (including an extended methodology section) is available to view and/or download here.
