Random Forests is year-long program of fieldwork and critical reflection investigating the emerging field of environmental machine learning, initiated by Theun Karelse of foamlab Amsterdam.
During fieldwork on the islands of Terschelling and Koh Lon (Thailand) I developed and facilitated workshops designed to help participants think through their experiences, and produced a cardset to be used for the generation of short fictional scenarios in later discussions.
